Who can contribute to AgriPix?
Anyone with an interest in photography or videography can contribute, whether you’re a professional photographer with a big bag full of expensive gear or you just have a phone camera and enjoy capturing images of life on the land.
If you’re already photographing agriculture, landscapes, or rural communities, you may already have images that could be suitable.
How do I start contributing?
Getting started is simple:
- Click Sign Up (Contributor)
- Create your profile – add your name, a brief bio, your contact details, tax / resident status and payment preferences so we can pay you (either bank account or PayPal if you prefer).
- Read and agree to the Terms and Conditions
- Begin uploading your images

How much can I earn?
AgriPix offers generous contributor royalties:
- Farm Production images: 65–80% of the sale price
- Creative images: 80–90% of the sale price
Payments are made monthly, and you can track your earnings through your Contributor Dashboard.
What images are most in demand?
Buyers often look for images that show:
- real farmers at work
- modern agricultural machinery
- crop and livestock production
- irrigation and water management
- agricultural technology
- sustainable farming practices
Creative images that capture the character of rural Australia are also in demand.
What are the technical requirements?
Images should meet basic quality standards, including:
Photos:
- Min 3MB, ideally 20-40MB with standard aspect ratios
- long side ideally 4000–7000 pixels
- PNG (accepted) JPEG (preferred – highest quality, sRGB colour space)
- high image quality with minimal compression
Video:
- MP4 (accepted) or MOV (preferred)
- Max size: 500MB
- Minimum 1080p (Full HD). 4K preferred

Do I need model or property release forms?
Yes. All our licences are commercial, so if your image includes identifiable people, brand logos or private property (unless you own it), you must have signed release forms for commercial use.

For Buyers
What types of images are available?
AgriPix features two commercial licence categories:
Farm Production images
Images showing how agriculture works — including crops, livestock, people, machinery, and technology.
Creative images
Images capturing rural landscapes, communities, flora and fauna and the character of Australian life on the land.
- Images in both these categories may may be used in marketing, advertising, editorial and educational applications, in accordance with the licence terms.
We plan to introduce an Editorial Use Only licence type soon.
How are images priced?
Prices vary based on resolution and intended use — from low-res images (~AU$7.50) to high-res files and images offering exclusive licences (hundreds or more).
Creative images may have flexible pricing set by the photographer.
- Every purchase helps support Australian photographers, who receive the majority of each sale (65-90%).
What licensing options are available?
AgriPix offers two commercial licence types:
General Licence
Allows an image to be licensed by multiple buyers.
Exclusive Licence
Provides sole usage rights to one buyer for a premium price.
In all cases, photographers retain copyright ownership.
Once downloaded, images can be used in accordance with the licence terms.
Download access is available for two years from purchase.
How do payments work?
Payments are processed securely through a third-party payment provider (Stripe).
AgriPix does not store your credit card or payment details.
