The image features a Weeping Lilly Pilly (Waterhousea floribunda), an Australian native rainforest tree recognizable by its dense clusters of fluffy, white, nectar-rich summer blossoms and pendulous, lance-shaped leaves. It was recently reclassified by some authorities as Syzygium floribundum) is highly indigenous to the riparian rainforests and creek lines of South East Queensland, including areas around Canungra and the Scenic Rim. In this local subtropical climate, these majestic trees put on an abundant display of fluffy white summer blossoms, turning into a crucial local food source for native honeyeaters, lorikeets, and beneficial pollinators.
