These crossbred sheep (possibly Poll Dorset cross Border Leicester) come from a hobby farm at a heritage listed home Kenton Park in Gumeracha, South Australia. The ewe on the left of the frame is the mother to two of the sheep while she has adopted another ewe who was attacked on the face by a fox at birth. Those black markings are not markings at all, they are actually battle scars from that same attack. Despite its sombre beginning, this ewe lives its life with its adopted family on a hobby farm in Tungkillo, South Australia. The four of them live happily as grazers to a small paddock while the rest of their flock is tasked with keeping the grass down on their 8.6 hectare home. The laidback lifestyle of these sheep is only disrupted at sheering time where they are reunited with their old flock and get to take a trip in the trailer.
